BELLAVISTA – GENEROSO TRAIL

Pleasant walk, also for families and children. Thanks to the Monte Generoso railway that connects Capolago to the summit of Generoso, passing through the Bellavista intermediate stop, the start of our trail at an altitude of 1223 m. The comfortable trail climbs to the top at 1694m in about 1:30 a.m.

You can enjoy a beautiful view that can range from the Lakes of Lugano, Como, Major and the lakes of Varese, as well as the Alpine arch. On the best days, even the Apennines are easily visible.

From Lugano you can easily reach the SBB section of Capolago Riva San Vitale, and from there take the Train that connects Capolago to Bellavista.

The service is also carried out in winter with reduced schedules and good weather conditions.
